Fox’s record breaking TV series ‘Empire’ once more failed to keep up with its Season 1 finale ratings record, as the show pulled in just 12.2 million viewers for its Wednesday Season 2’s fourth episode titled ‘Poor Yorick’.

This is happening for the fourth week in a row, since the 2nd Season began in September 2015.

The show also pulled in a 4.6 rating in the all-important adults 18-49 demo, which is down from 12.9 million viewers and a 5.0 last week.

It is believed that the drop in rating is as a result of too much ‘gay stuff’ on the show. However the show remains the most popular network show of the night, earning number of viewers and biggest in demo-rating.

The next episode is scheduled for Wednesday, October 21, 2015
